Welfare

Our Welfare Officer visits members in Hospital and Nursing Homes and visit those who are confined to their homes.

Regularly attends courses (run by the DVA and other Ex Service Organisations) to effect updates on services and programmes available to members of the ex-service community.

There is always a strong emphasis on health and community services.

The Welfare Officer also conduct RSL funeral services for deceased members on request by the next of kin.

Eligible member’s families may receive an ex gratia payment toward the cost of the deceased members funeral or other expenses. Should you need any advice or know of anyone in need of advice in the Welfare area please contact our Sub Branch Welfare Officers.
